According to recent statistics, the population of centenarians in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

Between 2004 and 2024, the figure of men aged 100 or over has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. Over the identical years, the number of women aged 100 or over nearly doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
