In a low-scoring contest this weekend, the Broncos managed to secure a close win over the struggling New York Jets. Signal-caller Bo Nix connected on a first-quarter scoring strike and specialist Wil Lutz provided the game-winning decisive three-pointer to seal the hard-fought win.

Dominant Display Wins Game

Even with recording nine sacks versus Jets quarterback Justin Fields, the Broncos found themselves trailing 11-10 after conceding a safety in the third quarter. Remarkably, the Jets managed a mere 82 total net yards during the contest.

The Denver quarterback, who completed 19 of 30 passes for 174 yards, engineered a critical 12-play, 65-yard possession that culminated in Lutz's short field goal with just over five minutes remaining.

Record Difficulties for Jets Offense

Despite their dismal performance, the Jets still had possession with a opportunity to score a potential victory. But Fields was tackled on fourth-and-eight from the Denver 44 when head coach Aaron Glenn chose to attempt the conversion instead of calling on kicker Nick Folk for a long field-goal attempt.

Fields had difficulties throughout, completing just 9 of 17 passes for 45 yards. The Jets finished with minus-10 net yards passing, the fewest in any game since 1998.
